Euroconvention Global is very pleased to announce the hosting of RENPOWER POLAND 2019 - The Renewable Energy, Power Infrastructure & Energy Efficiency Investors Conference, set to take place on the 11th of April at the Sheraton hotel in Warsaw.
Background: Following the Renewable Energy Sources Act from July 2018 and the November 2018 auctions, the Polish government is projected to announce further amendments promoting the sector as well as further auction plans for 2019 and beyond. End of January, Deputy Energy Minister, Tomasz Dabrowski, announced to the Parliament the Ministry's support for 2.5 GW of onshore wind and of 1.2 GW Solar PV by 2020 through auctions. Further significant developments in the Polish renewable energy sector are indeed expected as the government works towards improving its energy mix, decreasing its dependence on coal, and reaching its RE targets.
