The LEOPARD project recently participated in the first European Sustainable Energy Cluster partnership for Africa (ESECA) workshop of the Motors and Electrical Devices for Energy Efficiency (MEDEE) held in Lille on Thursday 15th of September 2022.
The ESECA delegation was composed of the Spanish, Italian and German clusters partners of the project, accompanied by a dozen of their companies. For LEOPARD, the solar systems test center CT2S in Dakar, the Beninese company ARESS, specialized in domestic and professional solar installations, and EIFER, the European Institute for Energy Research based in Germany, had made the trip.
This mission culminated in the participation of these delegations in the Forum “Access to energy: supporting innovation between Europe and Africa”, organized by MEDEE. The partners had stands in the partners’ village, pitched their solutions during the ESECA workshop and took part in B2B exchanges!
The event served as an opportunity to highlight the LEOPARD project and its most recent achievements to more than 120 participants. LEOPARD also attended several visits to engage further with the Hauts-de-France ecosystem as well as explore new partnership opportunities. The project met with MEDEE partners from the ESECA and their companies in physical presence in Lille, France.
A mission full of perspectives for LEOPARD partners!
