Partners

LEAP-RE gathers 85 partners committed to using research and innovation to fight climate change by addressing key renewable energy challenges. The partners will contribute to the production of new knowledge and technologies, therefore accelerating the inclusive transition to reliable and affordable renewable energy. Together, they will share their knowledge and findings and build a long-term partnership for an efficient AU-EU collaboration in the field of renewable energy.

A quadruple helix approach

LEAP-RE includes 4 types of stakeholders: government; research and academia; industry / private sector; and the civil society. Universities, research institutions, entrepreneurs, companies, investors, government agencies, as well as civil society organisations (CSOs) will take part in the project to enable establishment of effective innovation ecosystems, maximize its economic, environmental and social impacts.
